Horticulture Therapy

Horticulture Therapy Photo

Agriculture conference focusses on Horticulture Therapy. Horticulture is the science and art of cultivating fruits, vegetables, flowers, and other cultivars (plants). It also includes plant conservation, landscape restoration, soil management, landscape and gardening design, construction, maintenance and tree cultivation. In contrast to agriculture, horticulture does not include large-scale crop production or livestock production. Horticultural therapy is the intentional use of plants and plant-related activities to promote health and well-being of individuals or groups. In Canada, horticultural therapy has been increasingly used as an evidence-based practice over the past 60 years. Agriculture conference gives an opportunity to present the current strategies in the field of Horticulture Therapy.
